Residential HVAC Maintenance/Tune-ups
Residential HVAC Maintenance is an important step in keeping your HVAC system running at peak performance and the best way to prevent unwanted breakdowns. Our team has been trusted in providing top quality Residential HVAC maintenance/tune-ups for the community of Springfield, MO and the surrounding areas of Southwest Missouri for the past 30 years.
We pride ourselves on performing the FULL manufacture recommended maintenance readings, cleanings, and adjustments on every Residential HVAC System. All our Residential HVAC Customers receive full maintenance reports after each maintenance visit. In these reports you will see the condition and operating performance of your entire residential HVAC system, including amp draws and temperature readings.
Providing full maintenance reports allows our customers to see the reasoning behind any recommendations we give, so you can be confident that what we are recommending for your Residential HVAC System is actually something that needs to be done.
When are Residential HVAC Maintenance/Tune-ups Scheduled?
We recommend Residential HVAC Maintenance/Tune-ups be completed twice a year, once during the cooling season and once during the heating season. The season will determine what part of your Residential HVAC System we perform maintenance on, meaning we will focus on the A/C components of your system during the Spring & Summer and the heating components of your system will be focused on during the Fall & Winter.
The outside temperature is crucial to Residential HVAC Maintenance/Tune-ups. For example, if the outdoor temperatures are too low we will not be able to accurately check the A/C functions of your HVAC System, and if the outdoor temperatures are too warm we will not be able to accurately check the heating functions of your HVAC System.
Based on each year's weather, we usually begin scheduling our customers Cooling Maintenance's when the outdoor temperatures start reaching and staying above 70 degrees, and Heating Maintenances when the outdoor temperatures reach and stay below 60 degrees.
How do you Schedule a Residential Maintenance/Tune-up?
Scheduling a Residential HVAC Maintenance/Tune-up is easy! When you contact us, we will first discuss if you are wanting a one time maintenance visit or if you are interested in our Residential Maintenance Agreement.
In the event that you are only interested in a one-time maintenance visit, we will explain what a Time & Material Maintenance visit is, what your expected cost will look like, and about how long you can expect your Residential Maintenance/Tune-Up visit to take, all based on the number of full HVAC systems you have at your residence.
Alternatively, if you are interested in our Residential Maintenance Agreement, we will provide detailed information about what our Residential Maintenance Agreements include, the cost of our Residential Maintenance Agreement, how re-occuring maintenance visits work, and what you can expect to see in your detailed maintenance reports. Having regular preventative maintenance performed on your Residential HVAC System isthe best way to prolong the life of your HVAC system and prevent unexpected system failure.

Our top priority at H-VAC & Central Plumbing is ensuring our customers receive superior equipment, service, and support for a reasonable price. Our Residential Installation team is dedicated to guiding our customers through the entire replacement process, from start to finish.
Our expertly trained Residential Installation team will never try to push top-efficiency equipment, HVAC System add-ons, or up-sell you on additional packages that you do not want. Unlike some of our competitors, our Residential Installation Team does not work on commission, ensuring our teams are fully focused on YOU and not your wallet.
We understand it's never a convenient time to have your Residential HVAC System replaced, and nothing is worse than your HVAC System failing during the hot and humid days of Summer.
By having fully separate Residential Installation & Replacement team here at H-VAC & Central Plumbing, we are able to dedicate our full attention to you and your Residential HVAC Installation, ensuring we are able to schedule your Residential HVAC Installation as quickly as possible.
Are you in need of a partial or full system replacement? Getting started is easy! We will start by scheduling an appointment for one of our Residential Estimators to come out to look at the existing equipment (if any) and discuss with you in person about what specific features, price range, efficiency, etc. you are looking for in a new system. Our Residential Estimator will then take this information and work up several different options specifically tailored to your needs. We will then present you with these options with a full description of the equipment model number(s), all the specifications for that equipment, what exactly your replacement estimate includes, the warranty terms for that equipment, and any rebates and/or tax credits they qualify for.
Once you have chosen what option best fits your needs, we will then arrange a date for our Residential Installation team to complete your chosen system replacement. Once your system replacement is complete, our team will then handle any required equipment registrations and any rebate fillings for your new system. Our team will then provide you with copies of all the completed installation documents for your records.
